Daughters of the King

Who We are: The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism.  We have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives.  We are an Order of women who are communicants of The Episcopal Church, churches in communion with it, or churches in the Historic Episcopate.  Today our membership includes women in the Anglican, Episcopal, Lutheran (ELCA) and Roman Catholic churches.

Vision Statement of The Order: Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters of the King is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to become reflections of God’s love throughout the world.

We are the Episcopal Church in Western Louisiana. We are culturally diverse. We are welcoming. We believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world. And we know that God loves you – no exceptions.
